TRAIN services have been cancelled on the Aire Valley line after high winds caused a plastic bag to get entangled in overhead wires.
The incident happened at Leeds station, and affected services towards Bradford and Skipton.
At least two trains due to depart in the last hour have been cancelled.
A spokesman for Northern Rail said: “The problem was a plastic bag that had become caught in overhead wires at Leeds station, and was affecting Bradford-bound services.”
The spokesman said trains had been bit by a "number of weather-related incidents" this morning.
"Our engineers are now on-site to fix the problem, and we hope to limit any further delays to a few minutes" she added.
