POLICE have released an e-fit of a man who tried to abduct two young schoolboys.
The incident occurred at around 3.30pm on Friday as the boys, who were aged nine and ten, were walking down a ginnel which connects Nab Lane to Priory Way, in Mirfield.
The man approached the pair and took hold of one of the boy's arms, but he managed to pull himself free.
The suspect is described as white, around 40 years old, of average build, with a rounded face.

He was believed to be wearing a black, padded, shiny coat, jeans, and trainers. He was thought to be bald, or had his head shaved.
Detective Inspector Stef Wiseman, from Kirklees District CID, said identifying the man, who was last seen leaving the ginnel onto Nab Lane, was an "absolute priority."
Anyone with information about the man pictured is asked to call Kirklees District CID on 101.
