ENTRY for the Ilkley Triathlon, which takes place on September 20, run by the Leeds Bradford Triathlon club will open on May 1. Last year it sold out in 14 hours, had a record number of entries and was voted the best ‘Race of the Year’ at a national triathlon award ceremony.

Held at the Lido the sprint distance course is an ideal event for beginners, with an indoor swim, scenic 15km bike ride followed by 5km run.

Now well established in its 23rd year, and a fixture in the local sporting calendar now, It’s a great event to participate in either as an individual or as part of a team.
