A FORMER chief executive of the Bradford-based shoe retailer Barratts is running the London Marathon next month to raise money for two charities.
Michael Ziff (pictured) said he raised close to £50,000 the last time he ran the event, and wants to beat that total this year, in what he says will be his last entry into the race. He will split any donations between Cancer Research UK and Maccabi GB, a charity promoting Jewish identity in Britain.
“Support in this marathon challenge means so much to me, especially during these final few weeks of training,” Mr Ziff said.
“My aim to exceed my previous total, so please do give generously and help me make this happen.”
