KEIGHLEY Town Council has been given advice about cash handling procedures after a police probe into suspected theft from its civic centre building was closed.
The council alerted the police in January over possible missing civic centre takings. Two men, aged 24 and 37, were questioned.
Inspector Sue Sanderson (pictured), who leads the Keighley Area Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Officers carried out detailed enquiries and spoke to two suspects, who both denied involvement.”
