A HEALTHY weight programme is due to restart across the Bradford district over the coming month.
The 12-week sessions, based in Bradford, Shipley, and Keighley, include information and support around healthy eating, meal planning, shopping, cooking, and being active.
The programme is open for new people, and helps them lose weight by making small, sustainable adjustments to their lifestyle.
Ralph Saunders, head of public health for Bradford Council, said: “The Healthy Weight Programme isn’t about dieting, it’s about understanding what eating healthily means and ensuring you get the right amount of exercise.
“The course gives you the tools to take control of your own life so you can achieve safe and sustainable weight loss.
“This will make you feel good about yourself and give you more confidence to achieve your healthy weight.
“By making a number of small steps, we can help people stay motivated and make a positive difference to the people who come and join our courses.”
