THOUSANDS of pupils across the district are learning to ride a bike thanks to free training provided by Bradford Council.
The Bikeability Scheme allows pupils to learn the skills and confidence to ride their bikes safely. It is free for all pupils over the age of nine.
Councillor Ralph Berry (pictured), Bradford Council’s executive member for children’s services, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for children to learn a life skill they will never forget, and it is great our schools are taking up the chance to let pupils to access this provision.”
