Emergency services attended the scene of a head-on collision in Great Horton Road today near the Murco filling station at the junction with Beacon Road.
One man is understood to have been trapped in one of the vehicles and a woman has also been hurt.

The vehicles involved in the incident which happened at 12.10pm are a blue Ford Focus and a white Audi S3 Quattro.
The man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, but the extent of his injuries is unknown.
The road was closed from the collision point down to Old Road and reopened at 2.30pm.
