AN ACTOR known for his role in the television drama Casualty wants to involve more Worth Valley residents in a project to influence future building development in their parish.
Haworth resident Ian Bleasdale (pictured), who starred as paramedic Josh Griffiths for 18 years, is urging people to contribute their views to the Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Neighbourhood Development Plan.
The development plan will give the parish the power to say what kind of constructions will be allowed within its boundaries, what this development will look like and where it is placed.
Mr Bleasdale said: "We at last have a real chance to say what sort of new houses we need, how many and what sort of new businesses we want. This is important to all of us."
A public meeting to discuss the plan takes place at the Wuthering Heights Pub on Wednesday, April 15, from 7.30pm.
