A WOMAN, 65, needed hospital treatment after she was confronted by a gunman in her Bradford home early yesterday.
Officers were called to Parkway in West Bowling at 4.25am after the victim discovered the intruder inside the property when she went to investigate after hearing a noise. Police said he was armed “with what appeared to be a handgun”.
The suspect, who was wearing dark clothing, fled the house and ran off along Raynbron Crescent.
The victim suffered breathing difficulties as a result of the shock of the incident, and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment. It is understood she has been released.
