A 36-YEAR-OLD man is to stand trial at Bradford Crown Court accused of tobacco smuggling.

Goran Mohamadamin, of Beckside Road, Lidget Green, Bradford, is charged with being knowingly concerned in carrying, removing, depositing, harbouring, keeping, concealing or in any manner dealing with a quantity of tobacco product with intent to defraud HM Revenue and Customs on or about September 6, 2014.

He is also accused of being knowingly concerned in fraudulent evasion of duty imposed by the Tobacco Products Act 1979 on November 22, 2014.

Mohamadamin will next appear in court for a case management hearing on June 9.

His trail was set for July 27 and he was remanded on bail.
