A 34-YEAR-OLD woman is to stand trial at Bradford Crown Court charged with brothel keeping.

Valentina Maruntelu denies the offence, said to have taken place at a property in Gipsy Street, Thornbury, Bradford, between August 22 and September 12, 2013.

Maruntelu, of Barking Road, East London, was the tenant of the Bradford house and denies any knowledge that it was being run as a brothel for practices involving prostitution, her barrister Jeremy Hill-Baker told the court.

Her two day trial is due to start on May 13.
