Suspected burglar flees
A suspected burglar fled after a homeowner caught him trying to break into her house in Eldwick.
He had knocked at the woman’s property in Grange Road about 12.25pm on Tuesday.
She ignored it, but later caught him tampering with the front door lock.
He's white, 6ft, 35, with short black hair. He was wearing a navy jacket, jeans and carrying a clipboard.
