BRADFORD West Respect MP George Galloway has today been named as the country’s most prolific backbench tweeter in the 2015 Political Twitter Awards.
The award counts an MP’s followers and number of tweets and retweets they make in a year. Organiser Olly Kendall, managing director of Westminster Public Affairs, said: “Huge congratulations to George for his well-deserved victory. He won by a fair margin. By having the most followers, and tweeting the most, George ensured his visibility on the social network is second-to-none.”
