A COUPLE who had a Land Rover Defender stolen from outside their home say it was the third time they had been targeted in two years.
The vehicle, which was used by 36-year-old Alex Bailey for his landscape gardening business, was taken from Station Road, Oakworth, where he lives with his partner, Leah Del Vecchio, 29.
Miss Del Vecchio said: “We were alerted by a neighbour who saw the Land Rover being reversed all the way down Station Road before heading off towards the Vale Mill and Cross Roads area.”
The theft, on March 10, was one of four incidents relating to Land Rovers and Range Rovers reported to police between February 16 and March 16 this year.
