PUDSEY MP Stuart Andrew has backed a manifesto on delivering proper justice for victims and families affected by criminal driving.
The cross-party manifesto was written by the office of Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland, based on evidence from families and the road safety charity, Brake.
It sets out a number of changes, including tougher punishments for dangerous drivers and better support for victims, and improved investigations of collisions.
The manifesto has been sent to Home Secretary Theresa May, Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin and Justice Secretary Chris Grayling.
Mr Andrew said: “I am pleased to give my backing to the manifesto. We have seen locally in Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough, where residents have been killed or injured and families do not feel they have received justice.
