POLICE have seized a nuisance bike being ridden illegally on the Canterbury Estate in Bradford.
Officers from the Bradford District Off-Road Bike Team attended the estate on Saturday after reports from residents the bike was being ridden on the roads.
They found a man with no correct protective clothing riding an unroadworthy bike.
the bike, which was not deemed to be roadworthy.
The man, who did not have the necessary insurance, tried to hide the bike, but officers found it and seized it.
were given information as to its whereabouts, and it was seized by police.
The rider was given a 12-month warning over his conduct.
A police spokesman said: “This vehicle was being used in an anti-social manner, and had been for some time.
“On this occasion the rider was not prosecuted for riding the bike with no insurance, as this bike should not see the road again.”
