Police pursuit started in Buttershaw and ended when man crashed car into bollard in Scholemoor
A POLICE pursuit ended with a man crashing a car into bollards in Bradford early today.
Officers had spotted the blue Peugeot 106 driving erratically on Cooper Lane, Buttershaw, at about 4am and motioned for it to pull over.
Instead the driver sped off, with police - including a helicopter - giving chase.
The pursuit ended about two miles away when the car crashed on Necropolis Road, Scholemoor.
A police spokesman said the car was seized and a 21-year-old man from Bradford arrested for failing to stop. He added that enquiries were ongoing.
