A POLICE helicopter was used to help track a stolen vehicle in Thornton.
At 10.57pm on Sunday, police were called to an address in Thornton after a report that four men had abandoned tools at the side of the road.
The tools had been marked, and when officers got in touch with the owner he realised his car was missing from the front of his house. Police believe the suspects had got into the house through an unlocked door, stole car keys and took the car.
