LIMITED tickets are still on sale for an 80s night to help buy monitors for Bradford’s neo-natal unit.
The charity event in aid of BLISS and neo-natal units at Bradford Royal Infirmary and in Leeds is being organised by Natalie and Bobby Higgins from East Bierley, whose son Elliott is bouncing back after a premature birth, being born at just 25 weeks, weighing 1lb 14oz.
A life-threatening bleed on his brain, chronic lung disease and jaundice were just some of the difficulties the tiny tot faced when born – despite medical intervention to delay his birth. His family had been warned by doctors that the bleed he suffered could be devastating and he might never be able to use the left side of his body, but 14 months on Elliott has amazed doctors by gaining full movement of his body.
To book tickets for tonight’s event, please contact Natalie on 07714 648579.
