A SCOOTER rider who admitted to police he had no driving licence and that his machine wasn’t insured or MOT’d will now appear at court to face prosecution for those offences.
The rider was stopped by police patrolling the Ravenscliffe area on Wednesday and they found the scooter in a very poor state of repair.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Due to this the officers interviewed him at the roadside and he was reported for summons for the above offences. He will have to attend court at a later date. His vehicle was seized.”
