RESIDENTS in Wyke and Windhill are taking part in a day of action on Saturday to clean their community as part of the national Community Clear Up Day.
The spring clean event will see young people in Wyke volunteering to help Bradford Council wardens and youth workers make the local community a bit cleaner and greener.
Youth worker Kamrun Haq said: “The young people taking part have come together from Delph Hill, St Marys and Westfield youth clubs and are happy to be part of a day that makes their local community a better place to live.”
Windhill Community Centre is calling for volunteers to help clear the area between West Royd Road and West Royd Drive. Volunteers meet at 10am.
