THE iconic Harry Ramsden’s brand returned to Yorkshire when a new sign to adorn the company’s new chippie in Shipley was delivered.
The logo was fitted by Wrose electrician Richard Roberts (pictured) and will light when the doors of the new ‘local’ open on Thursday, April 2. The fitting out of the new unit will pour more than £500,000 into the local economy, as many of those involved are based locally.
Chief executive Joe Teixeira said: “We are delighted that, even before the doors open, Harry’s has played a small part in boosting the Yorkshire economy.
“We are all really looking forward to the opening the new Harry Ramsden’s in Shipley, which will create ten new full and part time jobs.”
The new opening is the result of the partnership between Vikesh and Dimple Patel of JVP Ventures and the senior management team at Harry Ramsden’s.
