A MOTHER accused of killing her young daughter after they both fell from an upstairs window is due to enter a plea to a murder charge at Bradford Crown Court today.
Gundeep Sanghera, who was critically injured in the incident at Delamere Street, Marshfields, is accused of killing 22-month-old Amrita Kaur. The pair plunged into the garden at the back of a terraced property on February 18 last year.
They were discovered lying on the ground by a window cleaner.
At the time of the incident police confirmed that Amrita had died from injuries consistent with a fall and said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
In February last year, Sanghera’s neighbours told the Telegraph & Argus they believed mother and daughter had moved to Bradford from the south of England about two months before the incident.
A High Court Judge is due to try the case at crown court on June 15, should Sanghera deny the charge.
