BANK staff got on their bikes to raise £580 for Sue Ryder Hospice.
NatWest in Fair Road, Wibsey, was turned into a velodrome with a group of eight staff taking to an exercise bike to turn pedal power into pounds.
Between them, they covered the equivalent of the 202 miles from Wibsey to Westminster in shifts.
The team will hold further monthly events for Sue Ryder throughout the year.
The cash will go to the charity’s Wheatfields Hospice which NatWest staff visited earlier this month.
Branch manager Nicola Hodgson said: “It’s been absolutely fantastic. The response we have had from customers has been great."
“We’ve even had some customers jumping on the bike and doing a few miles themselves. It’s been a full community thing.
“We hope to raise as much as we possibly can.”
