POET Simon Armitage is headlining the Bronte Parsonage Museum’s latest contemporary arts programme.
The writer (pictured) will visit Haworth in June to speak about Walking Away, the sequel to his book Walking Home which documented his attempt to complete the Pennine Way in the wrong direction.
The reading in June is one of a number of events which will take place at the museum throughout spring and summer.
The museum's spring and summer programme features exhibitions, readings, workshops and events that celebrate and showcase the ways in which contemporary writers and artists are inspired by the Brontes and their home.
