THE number of people claiming unemployment benefit in the Bradford district dropped last month, according to government statistics.
A total of 12,229 men and women claimed Jobseekers' Allowance in February - down 123 from January.

However, the one per cent drop lags behind the 3.3 per cent reduction seen across Yorkshire and the Humber It is an improvement on January, though, when Bradford's statistics climbed by 133 and bucked the regional and national trend for reduction.
