A PROGRAMME of children’s workshops at museums has been shortlisted for a national award.
The scheme, called The Art and Science of Noticing has seen more than 1,000 schoolchildren take part in workshops at Cartwright Hall art gallery, Bradford Industrial Museum, Cliffe Castle museum and Bolling Hall museum.
It has now been shortlisted for a Museum and Heritage Excellence award.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe (pictured), the Council’s executive member for culture, said: “I’m delighted Bradford has been shortlisted for this award and that 1,000 children have already taken part in the project. I hope thousands more children will go along and enjoy what’s on offer at our magnificent museums.”
