BRADFORD Co-operative members have been urged to have their say on the future of the company.
The Co-operative Party, the political voice of the co-operative movement, is starting a debate for Co-operative Group members in Yorkshire about their role in building a better society.
The campaign, about the role of the Co-operative Group in changing society, comes as members are invited to the Group’s Annual General Meeting on May 16.
The meeting could vote to end the Co-op Group’s partnership with the Co-operative Party, which dates back to 1917.
In Yorkshire and the Humber, the Co-operative Party supports four Labour and Co-operative MPs and 27 Labour and Co-operative councillors.
