HUNDREDS of tickets are still available for Bradford City's crunch FA Cup match on Monday, after what the club described as a "slow" day on general sale.
More than 300 tickets were sold by the box office today but that still leaves around 700 and the club is appealing for fans to make sure as many seats as possible are occupied by away fans on Monday evening.
Two donors have now stepped forward to offer free travel after sponsoring coaches. One has remained anonymous, and the other is Scott Broadfoot, of Peckover Transport.
Bradford City are also appealing for transport companies that can offer help to fans buying the remaining tickets to contact them.
Club spokesman James Mason said: "We appreciate that everything is stacked against supporters going to Reading on a Monday night, but how fantastic that City supporters have rung personally to offer their support by sponsoring coaches."
The club regard it as vital that as many tickets as possible are sold, to ensure the players have the maximum backing from fans on the night and Mr Mason has already set the challenge to fans to out-sing the home crowd, even though they will be outnumbered six to one.
"We want to bring the noise to Berkshire, we have been the story of the FA Cup so far this year.
"We are the under-dogs, there is no doubt about it and they are planning their own atmosphere," he said.
Any companies wanting to help with transport should e-mail the club at bradfordcity@compuserve.com Those wanting to claim free travel should enquire when they attend the box office to buy tickets.
