A KEIGHLEY woman who backed the campaign to have King Richard III re-buried in York says the fight will continue despite the authorities’ decision to lay the slain monarch to rest in Leicester.
Carol Fellingham Webb, of Bingley Road, Cross Roads, said that although the King will definitely be buried in Leicester, a commemoration would go ahead in York.
She said it was shameful the financial motivation of using Richard III as a visitor attraction for Leicester had trumped the arguments in favour of returning him to Yorkshire.
