POLICE are hunting a man who tried attempted to rob a catering vehicle in Bradford at knifepoint around 9.40am on Sunday, March 1.
The man had the knife as he approached the vehicle in Kings Road and demanded cash and a mobile phone from the woman who was serving.
SheThe woman screamed and he , and the man ran off empty-handed down Queens Road, possibly towards Midland Road.
The suspect is described as Afro-Caribbean, possibly in his early twenties, with a local accent, around 5ft 8 ins tall, and of slim build. He spoke . Heand was wearing a black waterproof-type jacket and similar type trousers, . He was wearing a hood over his head and a grey-coloured scarf over the lower part of his face.
The incident occurred at Detective Inspector Neil Benstead , of Bradford District CID, said: “We believe this man came approached from Queens Road, possibly or Bolton Lane., so I would urge Anyone who saw a male of similar description in the area around the time of this incident to with information please to contact DC 6071 Mohan at Bradford District CID on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.”
