POLITICIANS and fans have called for Bradford City's quarter-final replay to be shown live on the big screen in Centenary Square.
The Bantams travel to Reading on Monday night for another crack at getting to Wembley for a semi-final date with Arsenal next month.
Now some of the city's politicians want to see the replay televised in the city centre to further bring residents together.
Bradford East MP David Ward (Lib Dem), a City season ticket holder, said: "It would be worth looking into.
"It's a major event for the city of Bradford. It's like a community event.
"Bradford City's cup run has brought people together in the city."
Bradford West Respect MP George Galloway said: "For me, there is no question that it should be shown on the big screen.
"There is a public appetite for it. I'm sure that the council could be able to do it."
Chairman of the Bradford City Supporters' Trust Mike Thompson said: "I think that's a good idea.
"There are plenty of people who like to watch football together as a group."
