THE former principal of the Kings Science Academy was today charged with nine offences relating to financial irregularities when the free school was formed in Bradford.
West Yorkshire Police said Sajid Hussain Raza, 42, of Spring Gardens Road, Bradford, had been charged with fraud by abuse of position, false accounting, obtaining money transfers by deception and fraud by false representation.
He has been bailed to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on a date to be fixed.
The charges relate to financial matters at the Lidget Green school between April and August 2011.
