A MAN arrested and questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after a man plunged 40 feet from a flat window has been released on bail by detectives.
The 41-year-old was arrested by officers investigating how a 40-year-old came to fall from a top-storey window of a house converted to flats in Woodview Terrace, Manningham, on Sunday evening.
However, a second suspect, aged 39, has now been arrested and was being held for questioning last night, also on suspicion of attempted murder. He is aged 39.
The injured man was described as being “stable” in hospital, where he is being treated for multiple injuries including fractures to his spine, other bones and other internal damage.
He hit a concreted area after falling from the window and police believe he may have been pushed out of the building. The casualty lived alone in the flat but neighbours said they knew little of him.
