POLICE have urged people to keep their belongings with them at all times after a city centre Post Office branch had to be evacuated after staff spotted a suspicious package.
Staff and customers had to leave the Post Office branch in Darley Street, Bradford, until police arrived. It turned out to be a false alarm.
A police spokesman said: “We would like to remind people to keep their belongings with them at all times to avoid this type of incident.”
Staff at the Post Office were praised for their vigilance during the incident.
