CHEERFULLY miserable stand-up comedy is promised by Alun Cochrane as he brings his latest show Me Neither to Bradford.
The ray of sunshine will perform his sell-out Edinburgh Festival show at the Alhambra Studio on March 9.
The show is part of the Studio’s newly-announced spring season of comedy which is described as an “absolute cracker”.
Stephen K Amos, the maestro of feelgood comedy, performs his latest show Welcome To My World on February 19.
A double-bill on March 13 features Suzi Ruffell with her second touring show Social Chameleon, which follows successful support slots with top comics like Alan Carr.
Sharing the bill is Romesh Ranganathan, who performs Rom Wasn’t Built In A Day following a successful 18 months building his reputation around the country.
Romesh won the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Act Award in 2013, and his critically- acclaimed Edinburgh Festival debut was nominated for the coveted Best Newcomer Award the same year.
Patrick Monahan, renowned for his playful audience interaction, clean material and HUGs, will present a show suitable for the whole family, Adventures In Monahan Land, on March 28.
The Studio this month launched its Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club, and the club continues on February 14 with Barry Dodds, Dan Thomas and Tom Stade.
The club returns on March 14 with Paul Tonkinson, Wes Zaharuk and Scott Bennett, and on April 11 with Mick Ferry, Jonny Awsum and Allyson Smith.
The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club is hosted by Damion Larkin, who is renowned for being a spontaneous and lovable host.
