TWO kind-hearted school staff members leapt to help out drivers during rush hour in Wrose, Shipley.
Jason Byrne and Craig Jessop, who both work at Low Ash Primary School, gritted Carr Lane between 6am and 8am yesterday to help move traffic along.
The pair (pictured above at work) also helped push vehicles along to get them going.
They used buckets of grit to help combat the icy conditions for drivers.
Mr Byrne, the Wrose Road school’s site manager, said: “We just saw people struggling and helped them out.
“We got a few toots of the car horns from people and a few thank-yous.”
“We helped out about six or seven cars that were in trouble.”
