TWO more men have been arrested and released on bail in connection with a raid on a property in Eccleshill.
The men, aged 28 and 26, were arrested following the suspension of a Bradford district police officer after he was arrested for theft.
The 52-year-old man was arrested, along with a 55-year-old man, described as being a member of staff at the same force.
Officers raided a four-storey terraced house on Norman Lane in Eccleshill shortly after midnight on December 5 last year and the pair were arrested on suspicion of theft.
Both men have been bailed pending further inquiries, and have also been suspended from the force. The property is believed to be owned by the 52-year-old.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Two more men have been arrested in connection with this matter and all four have now been released on police bail pending further enquiries.”
