POLICE seized an off-road bike in Thornton, Bradford, after a man was unable to prove he was the owner.
Officers were called to Market Street after people reported seeing the bike being ridden anti-socially.
A man was spotted pushing the machine and was confronted by police. He changed his story several times, say police, and was unable to prove the bike was his, so officers took it.
A police spokesman said the man would get the bike back if he could produce genuine paperwork that proves he owns it, and also pays the fee for its release.
