AIREDALE Writers Circle is acting to reverse a decline in its membership.
All members are being urged to go to a special meeting on February 10 to discuss measures to revive the group’s fortunes.
The Writers Circle was formed about two decades ago and its membership includes both published writers – in a variety of fiction and non-fiction fields – and those starting out.
The group runs annual writing competitions for adults and children and hosts monthly speakers on a range of subjects.
The Circle’s January meeting was attended by only a third of the membership.
Chairman Peter Morrison urges members to attend the meeting on February 10, at Sight Airedale, Scott Street, Keighley, at 7.30pm.
