Young learn to cast votes
YOUNG people will learn the importance of voting at a session in Keighley Town Hall today.
Bradford Council’s electoral services unit will be on hand between 1pm and 3pm to give out information on how youngsters can cast their votes, ahead of National Voter Registration Day on Thursday, February 5.
According to the ‘Bite The Ballot’ initiative, only 56 per cent of people under 24 are registered to vote. Contact Onkar Singh, 01535 618100.
