Darren Hill, Yorkshire First's Shipley candidate
A POLITICAL party for Yorkshire has unveiled its first general election candidate for the Bradford district.
Yorkshire First, which formed last year to campaign for a regional assembly, has selected lecturer Darren Hill as its candidate for the Shipley seat held by Conservative MP Philip Davies.
Mr Hill, who lives in Shipley with his partner and two children, said: “I believe in accountable politics that listens to people and takes forward a positive local and regional agenda.”
