A LOCAL MP has added his name to amendments for the Infrastructure Bill that, if passed, will mean the government has to produce a strategy for investing in cycling and walking.
Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West, is supporting the amendments which have support from organisations including the Campaign to Protect Rural England, British Cycling and the Campaign for Better Transport.
If the amendments are passed it would mean the creation of a long-term vision to increase walking and cycling rates across the country.
