A PLANNED conversion of a terrace house in Shipley into four flats has been refused by Bradford Council.
Planning officers felt that Richard Craven’s plans for 3 St Paul’s Road, near Shipley swimming pool, would lead to an increase in traffic, and create noise for neighbouring properties.
They also judged that some of the flats in the proposed conversion would get “little in the way of natural light”.
There had been three objections to the plans, with one objector stating the development would undermine community cohesion.
