THE public have been invited to have their say on how the fire service is run in the next five years.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service has started a consultation on its Service Plan 2015-2020, including the Community Risk Management Strategy.
The consultation runs until next Saturday.
The plan outlines the service’s key priorities and objectives for the coming years.
Chief Fire Officer Simon Pilling said: “We continue to face significant challenges, not least of which is financial. However, our determination to provide an efficient and effective fire and rescue service still remains as strong as ever. We are committed to building on our achievements over the next five years.”
The plan was approved for consultation by the full Fire Authority in December. It can be viewed at westyorks fire.gov.uk.
