A MASKED armed robber stole thousands of pounds from a businessman outside a Bradford post office in broad daylight.
Bradford CID would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident at about 12.15pm on Friday outside the post office in Manchester Road.
The crime occurred after a 23-year-old man arrived in a taxi with takings from his business. He was approached by a man carrying a black metal bar, who grabbed the bag, leaving him with a hand injury, and sprinted to a silver VW Golf, waiting behind the post office in Carr Bottom Lane.
The suspect is white, 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build, wearing a blue and white hoodie with a scarf over his mouth. A second male, waiting in the Golf, wore an Adidas tracksuit.
The Golf, with the registration NL58 EOG, was found abandoned in Watty Hall Avenue.
