Celebration fireworks are exploding over the centre of Bradford after news of City's sensational win.
One of the most unexpected results in FA Cup history has produced an outpouring of emotion from Bantams fans, whether at the game or keeping up-to-date with developments from afar.
Lord Mayor of Bradford, Mike Gibbons, said: "What a wonderful, wonderful victory and my congratulations to the players and management.
“A Bradford victory is always a superb thing but this kind of victory is stupendous.
“It was just absolute delight.
“And what a great and amazing day for the fans and the city!” Cllr Gibbons said.
Mike Thompson, chairman of Bradford Supporters’ Club said it was a magical day.
“It’s a fanatastic result and one of the best games I’ve ever seen.
“We expected the lads to do their best, but they didn’t just give them a good game – they were excellent.
“And it’s not that Chelsea were playing badly – we were just so much better than them!” Mr Thompson said.
“It’s the best news Bradford’s had this century,” said vice president of the city’s council for mosques Zulfi Karim.
“I’m still pinching myself and I want to hear as many people say it as possible so I know it’s true. I’m delighted,” Mr Karim said.
