MARIE Curie is looking for volunteers to help set up a new fundraising group in South East Bradford, Drighlington and Birkenshaw.
The group would meet every four to six weeks to help raise money and awareness of the charity, which has a hospice in Bradford.
It would also organise supermarket collections and collect charity boxes.
Community Fundraiser Helen Rowlands said: “There are many ways to volunteer in your local community to support Marie Curie, perhaps you bake cakes or craft.
“Could you give a few hours to collect at a supermarket during the Great Daffodil Appeal or help promote local fundraising activities by putting up posters?
“Are you a member of a local group, a WI, a rotary club or similar organisation? Perhaps we could arrange to come along and give a talk to the group or arrange a tour of the hospice for you.”
To find out more, call Helen on 01274 337034.
