PEOPLE across Bradford are being urged to tell the NHS what they think – both good and bad – about the services they receive from their GP.
Clinical Commissioning Groups Bradford City and Bradford Districts are asking patients to take part in the national GP patient survey which asks them about the quality of care they receive from their GP surgeries and health centres.
The survey is part of NHS England’s commitment to make the NHS more responsive to patients’ needs and a random selection of patients, chosen from each practice, has been sent a questionnaire and a Freepost envelope to post it back by the closing date of March 27.
Max Mclean, lay member for patient and public involvement at NHS Bradford City CCG, said: “I would urge everyone to look out for this survey coming through their letterbox: it’s an opportunity for patients to have their say about how well their GP practice is doing in providing services to patients – and it’s anonymous. I hope that patients selected to take part will find a few minutes to feedback their opinions on these important issues – their views can help us to improve local health services for the benefit of all communities.”
